Enhanced High-Risk Screening Evaluation

Proactive, Personalized Care for Those at Increased Risk

Premier Breast Health Institute is dedicated to providing comprehensive breast health care, including specialized programs for individuals at high risk of breast cancer. Our High-Risk Breast Health Program is designed to offer patient-centered care, compassionate support, and cutting-edge screening and risk management services.

Who Is Eligible?

Our High-Risk Breast Health Program is suitable for individuals with an increased risk of breast cancer due to various factors, including:

  • Familial and Genetic Factors:

If you have a family history of breast cancer, ovarian cancer, or specific gene mutations like BRCA1, BRCA2, and others, you may qualify for our program.

  • Elevated Risk Scores:

Your provider may use validated tools like the Tyrer-Cuzick or Gail model to calculate your lifetime breast cancer risk. A score indicating a 20% or higher lifetime risk often qualifies for high-risk protocols.

  • Tissue-Based (Breast Biopsy) Findings:

Findings such as atypical ductal hyperplasia (ADH), lobular carcinoma in situ (LCIS), or radial scars can significantly raise risk and may prompt inclusion in the program.

  • Dense Breast Tissue & Other Indicators:

Dense breasts combined with other moderate-risk factors may warrant a more vigilant approach even if you don’t meet full MRI criteria.

  • Other Risk Factors:

If you have other risk factors, such as a history of radiation therapy to the chest, we can evaluate your eligibility.
